This dish is a favourite in my family. We have it almost every Monday coz that's when I cook dinner at my parents house. Shepherd's Pie or Cottage Pie, depending on the filling, is a dish that will suit adults and children alike. For catered small dinner parties I deliver the pies in a rectangular ceramic baking dish. For birthday parties or potluck parties, they will come in a rectangular foil baking dish. And if so required I can also make them in individual mini size.

Thank you ! I don't normally give out recipes but anyway here's the simplified version :-
* Saute big onions & garlic with minced beef
* Season with salt & pepper
* Mash potato with butter & milk
* Season with salt & pepper
* Place mince beef in a shallow casserole dish
* Top with the mashed potato
* Bake for 45 minutes
