Teacher's Day @ Agama School

My niece Zara calls and the conversation goes like this..
Zara : Ayu, tomorrow is my Teacher's Day celebration at agama school. What can you make for me ?
Me : Teacher's Day ? When ?
Zara : Tomorrow Ayu..
Me : TOMORROW !! dah last minute baru nak cakap ! 
Zara : Alaaaaa...
Me : So what do you want me to make ?
Zara : What can you make ? * in the background, Mirza says : I want Spaghetti Carbonara !*
Me : If for tomorrow, I can make Spaghetti Bolognaise or Lasagne or Baked Pasta and cake..
Zara : You cannot make Carbonara ke ?
Me : Nope..if you want that ask Mummy to beli ! 
Zara : Oklah, oklah..Spaghetti & Chocolate Cake lah..
My sister : Yong, nak senang buat Baked Spaghetti..
Me : Yes BOSS ! :p

So guess who had to get up at some ungodly hour ?

On Mother's Day..

Today..

I met a sweet young paediatrician by the name of Maryam.

For her niece's aqiqah, I made simple fondant cookies

to be given away as favors..

Then, I met a young lady with a

contagious smile by the name of Faraisha.

For her Mother's Day lunch, I made..

lasagne, shepherd's pie, baked macaroni

and moist chocolate ganache cupcakes

Finally, I made for my nephew, Haziq

his cheeky brother, Mirza

and their 'cakap banyak' sister, Zara

a lasagne & baked mac lunch

But before all of the above..I called my mama..and wished her

"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY"

A day old + straight from the fridge..

.....and still yummy...

This is the reason why I always make an extra dish.. :)



Breakfast and Tea at Azlin's..

My nephews and niece stayed with me over the weekend. On Saturday I gave them Maggi Mee for breakfast..I know, I know..I'm the *best* aunty ever ! :) So to make up for the lack of nutrition of Saturday's breakfast..for Sunday's breakfast..I baked them some bolognaise pasta..

Oodles of creamy bolognaise-pasta goodness for breakfast.. 

AND

Luscious..straight to the love-handles..Bread-n-Butter Pudding !
